Our tier 4 and tier 5 tractors cut carbon emissions, and we’re exploring methane capture from slurry to power farm machinery. By using precision slurry application techniques, we reduce ammonia emissions while delivering nutrients directly to the soil.
Healthy soil is at the heart of our farm. Crop rotation, herbal leys, and cover crops improve soil structure, reduce erosion, and enhance carbon capture. These practices not only sustain the land but also build resilience, ensuring our pastures thrive during challenging weather conditions.
We believe in making the most of everything. Organic waste, like manure, is used as natural fertiliser to enrich our fields, helping to close the loop on waste while supporting our crops and pastures.
Our farm is a thriving home for wildlife. Swallow and swift boxes complement natural nesting sites, while kingfishers, barn owls, and otters flourish across the land. By maintaining hedgerows and sowing herbal leys, we protect habitats and encourage biodiversity alongside our farming practices.
